Standard Products US 30 Carbine 30 Carbine Rifle
WWII configuration carbine. Standard Products made very few parts beyond the receiver and made wide use of parts sharing with other suppliers This makes it difficult to identify an original vs restored carbine. This one seems to conform to WWII standards for the time the receiver was made and to contain all US GI wartime parts. No obvious signs of replaced parts. The carbine is in excellent mechanical condition and has an excellent sharply rifled barrel. It has a correct military dark but not blue parkerized finish on the barrel and receiver. It has no import stamping on it. Some small parts are parkerized and some are have blued military finish as was correct on carbines as originally manufactured. Parts identified on this carbine. Standard products receiver serial number 2184882. Underwood 1- 44 dated barrel. N marked front sight. Unmarked early narrow pattern front band that has a correct spot weld pattern of 2 large circles, one on each side at the top. This pattern was used by both Winchester and Standard products. No evidence of wear patterns along the barrel from the removal of a post war band with bayonet lug is found. Correct 2 rivet handguard stamped BR-B. S.G. Marked recoil shield. P.I. Marked adjustable rear sight. Only a single visible stake mount from mounting the sight. Removal of an earlier flip sight and replacing it with an adjustable generally leaves an second stake mark. WWII period original stock. No remaining markings in the sling cut. Letters SA found along the top edge of the stock toward the front hidden by the handguard. Correct original color and finish on the stock. It is in excellent condition. WWII slide with round cut at the rear and straight unrelieved edge to the operating handle It is marked N 9 inside. Q-NL trigger housing. Blue round bolt W marked. Round and blue both correct for the time this one was made. Early HI blue dog leg hammer. Blue trigger, trigger pin and sear. The sear looks to be unmarked but would require removal to be sure. It is a WWII pattern sear without grind mark. Unmarked early original push safety and unmarked original early clip release. There is an original WWII 15 round clip with the rifle. Mint condition and U maker marked. One other comment regarding this carbine. Safe bet it hasn't been fired in many years. Upon arrival it was almost impossible to move the position of the safety or clip release. Upon examination it was apparent that old grease had hardened on both parts. A quick shot of penetrating oil and a rag solved both problems. Don't know if it is fully original but do believe if is an excellent example of a WWII M1 Carbine. - C&R

If a firearm is purchased and cannot be shipped to the buyer's state the buyer is still responsible for payment of said firearm and the firearm will be sold at our next scheduled firearms auction.

According to Ohio state law there are no tie bids and all tie bids will be awarded to the bidder in attendance. All items will be sold 'AS IS, WHERE IS' with no financing, inspection or other contingencies to sale. All FFL Buyers please bring a copy of current license. All non-FFL purchasers must pass NICS background check screening. All purchasers of firearms must present valid government issued photo identification; the government allows no exceptions. Photo ID must have physical street address; P.O. boxes are not an acceptable form of identification. Purchasers must be at least 18 years old to purchase long guns and long gun ammunition, and 21 years old to purchase hand guns and hand gun ammunition.
International Buyers? Yes we will sell firearms and related items (including: ammo, gun parts, scope, reloading equipment and accessories) to international buyers. Anything that is considered a firearm or related to a firearm will need imported please contact the auction company to see if the item(s) you would like to purchase will need exported before bidding. Below are listed two export companies that we work with to export your purchases and only these two. Please inquire as to their fees and process. Firearms may be picked up on Wednesday & Thursday following the auction from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Shipping will start Monday, April 25th. All firearms must be shipped to the FFL Licensee of the buyer's choice. All shipping and handling cost will be charged to the buyer and is calculated as the cost of shipping + $10 handling fee. No firearm will be shipped until a signed copy of the FFL licensee is emailed or faxed to Baer Auctioneers-Realty, LLC. Any cost of transfer charged by the buyers FFL licensee will be the responsibility of the buyer.
